Vanilla Blueberry Chia Jam

  • 1 cup oob blueberries

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon, or 2 teaspoons

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup, or rice malt syrup

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds


  1. Place all the ingredients apart from the chia seeds into a blender.

  2. Combine until your chosen texture of jam is obtained.

  3. Transfer to a bowl and stir through the chia seeds.

  4. Place in an air-tight jar, in the fridge to thicken overnight.

  5. Serve on hot porridge, with a generous dollop of nut butter, coconut yoghurt and a sprinkling of your favourite chopped nuts.

This jam is also amazing on toast, in sandwiches, on crackers, or simply stirred through yoghurt.
