In case you hadn't heard... the Soft Plastics recycling program has been relaunched! It was only twelve months ago that there was nowhere in NZ to process used soft plastics, and now there are two plants in the North Island. A good stroke of Kiwi genius sparked the creation of Future Post (in Waiuku, South Auckland) which recycles the soft plastics into fence posts. Second Life Plastics is based in Levin and they turn soft plastics into cable covers, garden edging and other products. Great work guys! Find your nearest soft plastics recycling bin and read more about the fantastic effort that's being made to reduce waste here.

At oob, we take our organic certification very seriously. It’s a point of pride and our guarantee to you that every single blueberry, bean or broccoli florette has been grown to the highest organic standards, following organic horticulture principles. But what does that really mean?
